Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and relating certifications Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections Highly skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts Provide Quality/Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel Verify and control tool calibration cycles and the supporting documentation Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training (both required and desired): High School diploma required Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required Composite material experience is highly desirable Experience using Number/Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports Security: Must be a US citizen Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required Physical Requirements Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer or measuring tools Have the dexterity to see fine print and use hand and precision measuring tools Adhering to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources

This role encompasses the staffing, supervision, direction, training, and evaluation of an assigned production team. Directs and controls multiple production operation. Safely ensures all phases of manufacturing are being performed efficiently and effectively. Identifies and solves any issues or problems with equipment or personnel. Recommends and drives formula improvements, equipment and engineering revisions. Provides training as needed. Maintains open lines of communication with Supply Chain Planning, Quality/Lab, Maintenance and Warehouse support groups to ensure production schedules are met. Coordinates publishing of process condition set up sheets; updating these conditions and maintaining the process conditions database. Produces all shop floor paperwork as required for process order production. Coordinates and administers all aspects of training for new hires as well as long term associates. Complies with and enforces all company policies and procedures. Ensures consistent and maximum production while maintaining acceptable quality control. Ensures efficient use of staffing by effective planning of vacation schedules and arranging the required coverage when necessary. Ensures that product loss and scrap production are kept to a minimum. Administers performance appraisals of production associates. Establishes, communicates and provides timely feedback to assigned workforce on objectives, goals and expectations. Ensures production supply inventories are maintained and notifies the appropriate purchasing associates when items need to be restocked. Reviews and corrects information in E-Time for time-keeping of production associate's hours. Ensures that attendance issues are reported and handled in accordance with the attendance policy. Coordinates with other Supervisors to provide seamless shift turnover and appropriate staffing. Ensures plant production area housekeeping is maintained in "Tour Ready" conditions at all times in accordance with housekeeping guidelines. Other projects/duties as assigned. High results orientation with an understanding that success comes through engaging everyone. Plastics Extrusion experience STRONGLY desired. Minimum of seven (7) years experience in a manufacturing leadership position managing direct reports, as well as a broad knowledge of safety procedures and manufacturing operations. Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally, in English. Competency in computer and PC software including email, internet, and MS Office High School diploma or GED equivalency.
