Organize and stage materials for production and shipping. Prioritize and prepare customer orders for on-time shipment. Safely operate a forklift to move materials and load/unload trucks. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Stack, strap, and hand-wrap pallets for shipment. Assist with loading inventory onto trucks and unloading inbound goods. Support process improvements and help create efficient shipping systems. Position Responsibilities • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with all federal, state and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to occupational safety. • Equipment Operations: Safely operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, following established safety guidelines and protocols. Conduct routing maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions. • Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Collaborate with quality department personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and report any non-conforming materials. Follow proper procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials if possible. • Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders or shipping documents. Safely transport materials to designated area using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and inventory control. • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete all required documentation, such as receiving reports, materials movement logs, and inventory records. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other related metrics as requested. Communicate inventory discrepancies, shortages, or delays to the appropriate stakeholders. • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve requested materials from inventory based on work orders or requisitions. Prepare materials for distribution or shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material request in a timely manner and maintain accurate documentation. • SAP knowledge such as inventory management, TO’s, pulls for production and troubleshooting. • Can perform receiving transactions, shipping transactions, consumptions, and reversals. • Ability to utilize Raymond racking system. • SAP knowledge to reprint handling units. • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies. Monitor stock levels, identify low inventory situations, and initiate replenishment processes as necessary. Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability. • Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of all designated areas within the facility, including floors and common areas. • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed • Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements • 3-5 years of experience as a Materials Handler or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts stand up, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to materials handling. • Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. • Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment. Job Title: Welder Location: Waterloo, Iowa Salary: $23-26/hour  Job Summary of the Welder: We are looking to hire 2 Full-Time Experienced Welders who can read blueprints.  Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Welder: ·        Operate various pieces of equipment, including hand plasma, saws, brake press, and deburring equipment. ·        Weld quality parts set by blueprint specifications using jigs when available, while meeting production standard times. ·        Keep work area clean and organized. ·        Be safe in all operations of the job.  Requirements  Education & Experience Requirements of the Welder: ·        Requires a High School degree or GED. ·        1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. ·        Ability to read blueprints. ·        Must be able to layout parts and fabricate as needed. ·        Requires an on-site weld test prior to placement. (Mig) ·        Proficient in measuring and calculating fractions, decimals, and angles. ·        Must be able to utilize various measurement tools, including but not limited to square, angle square, calipers, tape measure (to 1/32”). ·        Use of wrenches, air tools, hand-held grinders, overhead cranes, steel handling and lifting skills. ·        Forklift experience or ability to train on the operation of a forklift.

JACO Machine Works is an AS9100 certified machine shop supporting the medical, aerospace and semiconductor industries. We are in immediate need of a CNC lathe machinist for our growing operation. This position is for first shift with overtime available who can: • Perform setups and operation of 7-axis CNC lathes, screw machines, and Multi-axis turret machines. • Retrieve machine programs from database, create/read tool lists for job. • Accurately set tools and work offsets. Change tooling as needed to restore operation. • Ensure produced parts meet drawing specifications with standard inspection instruments. • Able to troubleshoot and perform basic edits of G-code to solve problems. • Read CMM reports and adjust machine offsets as needed. • Follow work instructions and communicate with Supervisor. • Train machine operators on any job that you set up. • Deburring of parts when needed. • Perform basic machine maintenance. • Keep work area clean and organized. Required Job Skills: • Must be organized and accurate with documentation. • Familiarity with Fanuc and Mitsubishi or similar controls. • Must have good knowledge of machine processes of manufacturing and problem-solving skills to ensure strict quality/dimensional and cosmetic standards. • Able to work with tight tolerances like +/-.0002” • Must have a strong work ethic and work well with others. • Must have good knowledge of G and M codes. • Must be knowledgeable of GD&T. Desired Education/Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required. • Certificate or diploma in engineering is an advantage • 5-10 years' experience as a CNC machine operator or setup • Experience with Ganesh or Tornos turning equipment. • CAD/CAM experience a plus • Experience with JobBoss shop software a plus. • Background in AS9100 work environment. Mathematical Skills: • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide measurement units, common fractions, and decimals. Working in and converting metric/imperial units. Computer Skills: • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer use.
