The Manufacturing Technician Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and optical components. This position is part of Production Team located in Vista, CA and will be an on-site role. You will be a part of the Production Operations Team and report to the Manager, Manufacturing responsible for working to assemble scanners and related products. What You'll Do: • Follow written procedures and perform all steps required to assemble Aperio Digital Pathology scanners and related products. • Tasks may include, but are not limited to: • Electro-mechanical assembly • Routing of cable and harness assemblies o Building of optical sub-assemblies • Visual and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies • Installing software • Performing basic troubleshooting • Identifying proper focus of optical assemblies viewing through eyepiece or on computer monitor • Completing related paperwork What You'll Bring: • High School diploma or equivalent or in lieu of High School diploma, willing to accept 2+ years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment • 1+ year’s Manufacturing experience working as either Technician and/or Assembler; able to put things together • Able to assembly or connect electromechanical equipment • Some assembly experience; example: fit circuit cards together, torquing screws, etc. • Must have basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) • Must have a positive, “ can do attitude" Open to getting feedback from your manager and love to learn! • Requires a strong team player; enjoys speaking with others and has a positive attitude • Ability to learn and pick up things quickly • Bonus: Experience working with medical devices • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb. and able to stand for long periods of time

This includes mechanical connections, supports and structures, and control panels. Build custom air compressor, vacuum pump, blower, and pump assembly packages. She/he performs inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures according to the applicable instructions on maintenance and operation services, and on products during their manufacturing process. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The Industrial Quality Inspector assists in developing and implementation of quality management system QMS/ QAPP.
