We have an opening for a qualified individual to join our team. The position is for a CNC machinist with 2-5 years of experience with mill and lathe setup, operation, and inspection. - Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other equipment to produce parts in accordance with customer specifications. - Maintain standard production rates and low waste. Meet all stated customer requirements. - Interpret part prints and measure parts to maintain acceptance levels. - Maintain a clean work area to support efficiency, quality, and safety. - Continually monitor machine operation and perform in-process inspections to ensure accurate product measurements are maintained. We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist to join our team. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sample parts, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations. Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using applied mathematics and measuring instruments. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tight tolerances. Maintain all measuring and inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ensure machines run efficiently and produce accurate parts. Follow safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist (mill and/or lathe). Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, gauges). Solid understanding of machining practices, speeds, feeds, and tooling. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Knowledge of multiple materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, plastics, etc.).
