Responsibilities include: Sewing the filters (on a stand up chain stitch sewing machine), cutting filter pads, pre-assemble air filters, and also working in the warehouse. Warehouse duties include helping loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, etc. You may be asked to do other duties outside these listed. You should have a responsible and positive attitude. Requires walking, standing, and working on your feet. Previous experience not required. This job is full or part time. Perform inventory accounting and control records entry and review, demand processing, requisition and re-supply, receipt and release of property, shipments, and management information recoverability. Perform periodic inventories of plant property, materials, and equipment. Gather information to support inventory records, discrepancies, and assist with corrective actions. Process disposal documentation as required, and post status record changes to maintain control of equipment dispositions. Process material receipts; enter data in the inventory control system; enter receiving and shipping documentation; and notify management of discrepancies with maximum supervision. Follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government for requisitioning, receiving, and storing supplies, repair parts, and equipment. Requirements A High School Diploma and (2-3) years of general work experience is required. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to follow technical written procedures issued by the Federal Government. Must maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and be able to drive and operate a vehicle (car, truck, van). Screen printing/screen making facility located in Santa Rosa (north bay) is looking for a local, RELIABLE, and motivated individual to become one of our shop's press operator and general helper. Experience in screen printing in general is A MUST. However, we are willing to train will the right candidate as long as that person has an understanding of screen printing and some hands on experience in the field, a good disposition, is a quick learner, and is here everyday ready to work. Note that is a manufacturing place with deadlines & production goals to meet, not a space to start a hobby or hang out. Be advised that this is a full time on site position. Skills needed: Actually Showing up, being on time, and following a set job schedule Willingness & ability to learn all aspects of screen printing, pad printing, and screen making. Willing to take on different tasks/constant changes in work flow as needed to keep production moving Must be able to lift 50 lbs & reach/bend down Must be ok working with solvents, inks, pressure washers and an overall noisy manufacturing environment. Must be able to stand and walk for most of the work day Full command of the English language both written and spoken is a must. Must be able to perform basic math equations & conversions including using a measuring tape and rulers properly. Must be able to read, understand, and execute written and verbal instructions properly but more importantly able to ASK questions when in doubt. Must have reliable transportation to and from work(We are located very close to the freeway exit). Must show up and be on time everyday ready for work.
