The Assembler will be responsible for the assembly of electronic components, subassemblies, products, and systems. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm $18.00/hour + Benefits Responsibilities: • Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. • Position and align parts in specified relationship with each other in jig, fixture, or another holding device. • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place. • Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel. • Connect component led wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual components leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies. • Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, switches, screws, housings, end blocks and face plates to assemblies. • Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, stamping, etching, coding parts and assemblies. • Adjust or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. • Perform online go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Qualifications: • Certificate from college or technical school or 6 months of related experience • Must be mechanically inclined and familiar with basic hand tools

Knowledge/Skills  Knowledge IPC 610/ 620, J-STD-001 certification preferred  Must have good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopes  Attention to detail / must be able to read and interpret blueprints  For color coding purposes, must distinguish colors.  Ability to use hand tools- long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron.  Capable of following both verbal and written instructions  Ability to compute measurements accurately Education/Experience  High School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing work related experience  1-2 years experience in electro- mechanical assembly  Basic Computer skills required Physical Demands:  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Qualifications and Experience: •High School diploma/equivalent or 1-3 years of related work experience preferred. •Ability to follow oral and written procedures and to recognize gross deviations from normal process. •Good oral and written English skills required. •Basic math skills (including percentages, fractions, unit conversion) required. Skills / Pre-requisites: •Ability to work in a team environment. •Ability to take directions and ask questions. •Must be willing to learn new production line skills and exercise flexibility.
