This role involves developing strategies, monitoring performance, and implementing policies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and align supply chain activities with company objectives and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Design and implement supply chain strategies to meet company goals, forecast demand, and adapt to market changes. Operations Management: Oversee procurement, production, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring seamless operations and optimized workflows. Vendor Relations: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance for quality and cost-effectiveness. Inventory & Demand: Maintain optimal inventory levels, implement control techniques, and align production with customer trends. Logistics: Coordinate transportation and work with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely deliveries. Cost Management: Monitor costs, create budgets, and implement savings strategies while maintaining quality standards. Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Risk Management: Identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and enforce health and safety policies. Team Leadership: Develop and mentor the supply chain team to foster continuous improvement and accountability. Requirements Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields. Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, compliance, and quality assurance. Analytical skills with expertise in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Exceptional organizational, project management, and leadership abilities. Preferred: Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., CPIM, CSCP). Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO regulations. Experience with global logistics and lean management principles. Strong decision-making skills under pressure.
