Driver, Shipping/Receiving, Material Handler

We are a local Machine Shop and currently have a position open in our Shipping/Receiving Department Full Time position 6am-2:30pm shift Mon- Fri. *Must have clean driving record and valid CA drivers license* Job Requirements; - Work in the Shipping/Receiving Department or other departments as assigned - Drive Local and L.A. Deliveries - Responsible for the flow and organization of material throughout the shop - Safely package, load, and move products throughout the shop - Forklift license a plus - Follow all policy's and procedures in processing paperwork - Inspect parts by reading/ interpreting engineer drawings and blueprints - Sweep, organize, clean shop as requested by supervisor - Warehouse Inventory, or Shipping/ Receiving experience may apply -Able to learn and take direction -Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and basic measuring tools -Ability to use basic hand tools -Need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs -Perform regular maintenance and keep shop presentable -Uses good, safe working practices - Having your own tools is a plus - Looking for good attitude and someone eager to learn - Potential advancement for the right candidate - We are looking for someone to be a team player and grow with us - Full Benefits Included Competitive pay based on experience Send Resume by Email Please include references and work history This is not a temp agency.
