You will be responsible for safely operating a 16' to 18' box truck with a capacity of at least 24,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).  This is a dedicated client route that operates Monday through Saturday. The driver must be available Monday through Friday from 6:00am-3:00pm, and on Saturday from 6:00am to 12:00pm. The ideal candidate must have a clean Type 3 Driver's License, be a clear communicator, reliable and accountable. At least one year of truck driving experience is preferred (but not required), as is the possession of, or the ability to attain, a Department of Transportation Medical Card. Requirements Delivery Driver Key Responsibilities: Delivers products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers. Reviews and verifies invoices and purchase orders when necessary to ensure accuracy. Inspect delivery vehicles and insures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. Ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. Contacts customers to confirm delivery details when necessary. Determines placement of merchandise, follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries. Maintains delivery logs and records Requirements Located in Honolulu, Hawaii Available Monday through Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, and Saturday 6:00 am - 12:00 pm  High School Diploma, or GED equivalent Previous experience truck driving or other related fields (preferred) Good communication and organizational skills Ability to problem solve Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes Must be responsible & reliable Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Must have a valid driver's license Ability to handle physical workload (up to 50 pounds) Must pass pre-employment drug test.
