Ampco Tubes is looking for people with a willingness to learn to join our production team in our fabrication facility. We are a manufacturing company specializing in mandrel tube bending for a variety of industries. Standard hours are Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Job duties include the ability to work with fellow employees in a manufacturing environment using manual and automated equipment to accomplish the following: Sawing, bending, beading, welding, powder coating and other various processes. Job Requirements: 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred in metal fabrication) A willingness to learn the trade and our industry. The ability to read and follow written instructions on production plan documents. The ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment. The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors. The ability to read and understand manufacturing plans and prints or a willingness to learn. The ability to use a Windows based computer software for time keeping purposes. Must be willing to submit to a background check, pre-employment drug test. The work load is on and off but averages maybe 20 hours a week and can be done off site after you understand the concepts. First we need some minimal design concepts to show the customers and if they order we need detail drawings. We have the system down and have been manufacturing these for over 35 years.
