Automotive / Apparatus Painter / Installer (Chico, ca)

Located in North Chico, MTECH Incorporated is actively looking for an immediate hire to support our growing production team. This position will be focused on automotive style paint / body work and apparatus installation. MTECH builds wildland brush truck bodies using our PolyTough(TM) construction - the prep and paint process are identical to that in the automotive industry. We build and paint all of our products on site. This is a full time, long term position with benefits, bonus, retirement plans and more. While not required, experience with automotive style prep/primer/paint/clear/color sanding is preferred as well as basic understanding of standard hand and power tools including wrenches, screwdrivers, cordless hand drills, stationary sanding and cutting equipment; ability to work productively with other employees and a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience is not required. This person will be required to do body work including sanding and filling, primer and sanding, paint plus clear and color sanding.
