About the Role We are seeking a creative and strategic Director of Growth Marketing to join our marketing leadership team and play a central role in building the future of Cosmo. This role is ideal for an experienced high performer ready to take the next step in their career, building & leading a small team at an exciting, mission-driven, growth-stage company. You’ll be responsible for building systems from the ground up and leading the charge to achieve Cosmo’s ambitious growth targets. As Director of Growth Marketing, you will be in a role of both creative and strategic leadership, shaping strategy and owning execution of Cosmo’s core growth goals. The Director will report to Cosmo’s Chief Marketing Officer and own all aspects of paid acquisition campaigns, analytics, funnel management, and new channel growth opportunities.  This is the perfect role for a motivated, organized self-starter who is comfortable building without a playbook. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute the growth strategy and roadmap to scale Cosmo’s acquisition efforts across marketing channels. Grow top of funnel awareness for Cosmo via paid channels including search, social, OTT, affiliates, podcasts, Amazon, etc.  Oversee and optimize Cosmo’s full-funnel strategy and campaigns from awareness to conversion, guiding best practices and methodical testing of new approaches. Own the building and managing of performance / acquisition / attribution data analytics to develop actionable insights across our funnel (strategy, channel, copy, creative, etc.) Manage contractors/agencies and grow an in-house team owning all levels of growth, sales operations, and performance marketing across Cosmo: channel (e.g. Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.), paid acquisition (search, social, OTT, podcasts, etc.), owned (email/SMS), and more.  Develop a deep understanding of our market and work cross-functionally with Product/Product Marketing, operations, social, etc. to identify new customer segments and channels to launch profitable sales strategies. Build and mentor a team within our growth and performance vertical, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and accountability. Collaborate cross-functionally, working closely with product, engineering, and operations leaders to align acquisition and sales ops efforts with overall business objectives. Track, manage, and optimize performance budgets and key metrics reporting (CPAs, CAC, ROAS, CPMs, etc.) for maximum efficiency and impact. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Must-Have Qualifications: Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in paid acquisition or growth marketing roles with proven results. Experience driving results across the marketing funnel, with hands-on experience in at least two of the following: paid social, Google platforms (Search, Shopping, YouTube), television/streaming/OTT, audio (radio, podcasts, etc.), affiliate marketing, SEO. Strong analytical skills with experience building actionable intelligence from attribution models and marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Northbeam, Rockerbox, etc.), and data-driven decision-making. Familiarity with common marcom techstack platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, ReCharge, etc.) and paid ad platform management (Meta, Google Ad Words, etc.) Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills with an ability to “zoom out” and build processes while “zooming in” to manage multiple priorities on tight deadlines any given day. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.  Passion for Cosmo’s mission and vision, with a desire to make a positive impact on families and children. Preferred qualifications: Strong preference for experience in DTC / E-commerce / B2C growth/acquisition marketing. Experience selling on third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Target) also a major plus. Experience driving results across the marketing funnel, with hands-on experience in at least two of the following: paid social, Google platforms (Search, Shopping, YouTube), television (linear, streaming), audio (radio, podcasts, Spotify), direct mail, affiliate marketing, and SEO. Previous management experience, with the ability to grow, inspire, and lead a team effectively. General Summary As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the organization and logistics of events for Music Brands (Alfred Music and MakeMusic), which can include conferences,, digital events, and reading sessions, amongst other types of events. You will develop and maintain positive working relationships with clinicians, dealers, and event organizers. The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, strong adaptability to change, ability to problem solve quickly and is comfortable building positive, cross-functional working relationships. You value team members’ input from all levels and you actively seek ways to support your colleagues. You will sit directly with the Marketing Team and report to Manager, Events. Core Functions:  Coordinate event logistics with input from the key stakeholders on targeting, product focus, and clinician teams. Solicit and book all events within specified deadlines. Lead all product logistics, equipment, and post-event reporting for events. Lead independent events with organizations including facilitating financial assistance requests, ensuring local dealer participation, events materials, order, and post-event reporting. Coordinate event marketing details, including social and email copy. Ability to conduct post-event analysis and reporting, in conjunction with Marketing Events Specialist and Manager, Events. Regular professional interaction with colleagues, vendors, partners and customers. Music Education background.  Ability to manage multiple priorities with prior experience working in a fast-paced environment. Experience in digital and in-person event coordination. Exceptional organizational, process, project, and event coordination. Analytical and research-related skills. Customer-service orientated and positive attitude. Ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 50+ lbs. Ability to work extended hours and travel as necessary, including weekends. Knowledge of the fundamentals of music. The hourly compensation range for this role in Colorado is $18.27-$30.45. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.
