Very large docile/shy RTB for rehome (Forest Grove)

address2004 17th Ave, Forest Grove, OR 97116, USA

Description

I can no longer provide care for my much loved red tail boa, and feel like I owe it to her to find her a new home. She is approximately 8" in length, weighs about 55lbs, and the girth of my thigh (I'm 5'3, 116lbs). She is very shy, not at all aggressive, and has shared her house with ball pythons from time to time in the 10+ years that I have had her (no, I do not need to be schooled about housing different species together, thank you). She eats live prey, basically because safety is my number 1 priority when it comes to feeding her, and there is no way in hell I'm going to attempt dangling a f/t prey item in front of her, and when I simply place (toss) it in front of her, she just kinda looks at me like "wtf am I supposed to do with this?". She will not come with an enclosure, unless you want a half-assed, non-insulated, large, heavy wooden structure. She needs to be housed in a way more suitable home that meets her specific lighting, heating, and humidity requirements. My girl is not for an inexperienced snake lover. There should always be 2 adults present when she is being held or moved, and she will not be going to any person until they have met in person with me first, and not right after that get together. Please do not expect that once we meet, off she goes. Also, please be prepared to prove your knowledge of how to care for a large bodied snake. If your interested, hmu. Rehoming fee has not been determined, and is open for discussion.
