Private home daycare specializing in newborns to 2 years old (NE Albuquerque)

address1200 Glorieta St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, USA

Description

I have ONE opening for a baby in my home daycare in NE Albuquerque in a safe & quiet neighborhood near Lomas & Eubank. I offer a clean, safe, non-smoking environment in the NE area. I am a reliable and responsible caregiver with many years of experience. I love and care for your child like they are my own. I offer a low ratio of 4 to 1. I really enjoy caring for babies (infant to 24 months) and I find that up to 4 is my limit for safe & quality care. This means lots of one-on-one love, attention, and interaction with your little one, much better than most other home daycares or large public daycares where the ratio is 1 caregiver per 6 children. I offer a large clean play area with lots of stimulating toys. I try to get the children into a regular feeding and naptime routine based on their individual needs. I teach them some sign language and words as they are ready. I offer many other perks of one-on-one attention. I offer daily rates or weekly rates, Part-time, or Full-time. 7:30am to 5:30pm. My rates are very reasonable, full-time or part-time depending on age and up from there depending on your needs. $180 for 5 days, $160 for 4 days, $139 for 3 days, $45 per day for 1 or 2 days. Give me a call cell show contact info or come by and meet me, the spot will fill fast. I have plenty of references given upon request. Customer Feedback from one of my current Moms: "I cried for weeks at the thought of having to leave my baby with a stranger after my short maternity leave. I was so nervous, worried, and paranoid that my baby would be neglected or abused. After trying a few other home daycares, she was recommended to us by a friend. She has watched our son for over a year now. We are so happy with her. She is so down-to-earth, she is great at communicating any issues, she can take suggestions without getting upset, and she truly seems to love our son and care about his growth/progress. He loves her too, he hates to leave her when we pick him up at the end of the day. She has taught him so much too, he always comes home with new words or sign language signs (like please, more, eat, ect.). We are absolutely thrilled with her!" Some philosophy: "Because babies under two years are so active, curious, and effcient at providing themselves with stimulation, deliberate enrichment at this age is largely a matter of communicating and of providing emotional support, love, encouragement, and opportunities for exploration. This is commonsense stuff, but many parents find it hard to spend the necessary time or are dismayed at the mess that a young child automatically creates while exploring. It's worth the effort" ~ Magic Trees of the Mind: How to nurture your child's Intelligence, Creativity, and Healthy Emotions from Birth Through Adolescence by Marian Diamond & Janet Hopson "Recent studies of children in orphanages as well as of newborns and premature babies show that a caregiver's soothing touch, voice, and eye contact allows an infant to thrive and grow. The absence of nurturing overtures, on the other hand, can lead to an altered course of brain development, to lowered IQ scores, to small stature, and to abnormal behaviors like chronic, vacant stares and rocking back and forth." ~ Magic Trees of the Mind: How to nurture your child's Intelligence, Creativity, and Healthy Emotions from Birth Through Adolescence by Marian Diamond & Janet Hopson
