Beautiful 10yo F tortie cat whose owner passed away (santa clara)

My mom died a couple weeks ago, and her cat needs a home. Domestic Short Hair Tortoiseshell indoor cat, Female (spayed), Rehoming Age: 10 years - Location: Santa Clara, CA - Microchipped and Housetrained Persephone is a beautiful, shy, 10-year-old female tortoiseshell cat who loves to snooze in bed or look out the window at the birds. Her owner just passed away at the age of 89, and "Percy" needs a home without any other dogs or cats. She will be happiest as an indoor companion in a quiet home without young children. She always uses the litterbox, is healthy, clean, petite, and a lovely lap cat for her person once she gets to know you. If you can be that person for her, please let us know. All the children/grandchildren of her former owner have multiple dogs and cats so, although we would love to, we can't take her in.
