Adoptable reptiles

Description

I have a few snakes, tarantulas, and geckos for adoption. Proof of appropriate enclosure and husbandry experience/research required. Message for rehoming fees, they are not free to ensure they get good homes. Snakes: • “Juno” - 2018 male albino ball python. Supposed to be het sk axanthic, but is unproven. He is a very friendly boy and a great eater. Will eat f/t mice, rats, or ASF - is not picky. He does not come with an enclosure. • “Granite” - Approximately 6-8 year old Rosy boa. Unsure of background as it was a rescue. Great eater with a strong food response. Eats a f/t hopper mouse every 2 weeks. Weight management is important with this snake as it came to me a bit overweight and I’ve been working on getting it to a healthier weight. Hook trained as it thinks everything is food, does well for handling once out of enclosure. Active and curious. Does not come with an enclosure. Tarantulas: • Tliltocatl vagans (Mexican red rump) - unsexed, approximately 2 years old. Great eater, can be shy. Can come with or without enclosure (enclosure semi-bio active with temperate springtails and small number of dairy cow isopods) •Bumba horrida (Brazilian redhead) - unsexed, approximately 2 years old. Fantastic eater, a bit skittish and will hair flick when frightened. •Aphonopelma chalcodes (Arizona blonde) - unsexed, approximately 3 years old. Was a little bit of a slow start, but drop feeds on prekilled prey consistently as of the last year and a half or so. Calm and handleable as expected with this species, but I usually don’t pick it up as in general tarantulas don’t enjoy handling and are fragile if dropped. Can come with enclosure if you want, but it’s just a modified tupperware, nothing pretty. Geckos: Two unknown genetics/age (maybe 6 year old?) female leopard geckos. Rescued after being abandoned in an apartment. • “Mabel” - yellow and tan color. Friendly and handleable. Likes to watch what you’re up to. Great eater, not picky, will tong feed or eat out of a dish. She has her original tail and I believe all her toes and toenails are accounted for, but foot handling is one thing she can get a little skittish about. • “Harriet” - black speckled. It took her a while to come around, but she is friendly and allows handling now, though occasionally if you go to pick her up and she’s not expecting it she will squeak at you. She prefers to sit on you rather than be held in your hands, but will allow it She is also is very interactive when in her enclosure and likes to people watch. Great eater, not picky, will tong feed or eat out of a dish. She has her original tail and I believe all her toes and toenails are accounted for, but she does not like me trying to look at her feet. They can be adopted together or separately. If adopted together, they must be housed individually as cohabitation is in general not recommended. They do not come with enclosures. Not pictured, but I also have a TGR Rack Systems hatchling rack available. I will end up making a separate ad for it, but if you are interested before that goes up, send me a message and I’ll get you the info on it.
