Description

Summary Directs and manages day to day operations for the intake and patient services department. The director is responsible for managing the department that handles all general inquiry calls from potential customers and referral sources, helping to provide services with high patient and referral source satisfaction. The director ensures these calls are documented and handled appropriately. In addition, the director has responsibility for overseeing and also performing (when needed) the assessments of all potential patients who call or present to the hospital. The director ensures the intake assessments are completed timely and appropriately. The director will also work with other directors to ensure patients have the best experience possible when seeking services and being admitted to the hospital.   Job Requirements Degree and license in nursing.   Minimum Work Experience Managerial, supervisory responsibilities in an acute mental healthcare setting experience preferred. At least 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting required.   Required License RN Responsibilities Oversee and manage intake and patient services operations, ensuring compliance with regulations. Supervise intake and patient services staff, providing guidance and support in patient care and inquiry calls. Maintain accurate documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care quality.
