About the Role
Thanks (thanks.co) is seeking a Strategic Key Accounts Lead with 5+ years experience in partnerships and 3+ of experience in advertising or adtech to join our team and play a founding role in ensuring our strategic accounts achieve maximum value from their partnerships with us.
In this key position, you will act as the primary point of contact for our mid-market and enterprise Publishers and Advertisers. You will deeply understanding their business & goals, and deliver exceptional service to support and unlock growth.
Our ideal candidate will be very comfortable monitoring and analyzing ad performance, and working directly with Product & Engineering teams to build innovative products to drive incremental revenue. A strong understanding of Martech & CRM platforms, ie: Braze, Klaviyo etc would also be very beneficial in this role. Most importantly you are a people person.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key publisher and advertiser partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Onboarding & Support: Lead the onboarding process for new advertisers, providing guidance on best practices and how to leverage Thanks’ platform effectively.
Expertise in Advertising & Performance Marketing: Demonstrated ability to source, create, monitor & optimize marketing strategies across various digital channels, making data driven decisions.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyze campaign performance and share insights with clients, using data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Strategic Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor, recommending strategies to optimize advertisers' campaigns and achieve key performance metrics.

Responsibilities:
Media Buying: We work across a ton of different advertising platforms, mainly YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Google Search & Display. You will be managing upwards of $50,000 - $75,000 a day on these platforms. Some of our clients will scale very hard when we hit a winning campaign, so you will need to be prepared to do so.
Forecasting: You will be forecasting & creating different scenarios to hit clients targets. This includes mapping out current ad metrics, conversion rates & coming up with new improved forecasts based upon us lowering CPC, increasing conversion rates, etc..
Data-Driven Decision Making: In our company, every decision is based upon data. You will be compiling and analyzing performance data for ad creative, landing pages, and offers to assess effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.
Funnel Strategy: Every client we work with has a sales funnel and you will need to be able to identify where there are pages in the funnel that aren’t hitting industry benchmarks. This will allow us to increase conversion rate & drive more revenue with the same amount of traffic.
