This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Maharam. We are currently looking for a Manager, Delivery Final Mile/Customer Experience in Texas (USA). As a key leader in the delivery operations team, this role focuses on optimizing the final mile experience to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service to customers. You will oversee third-party delivery agents, develop performance metrics, manage escalations, and drive strategic improvements across the delivery network. Working cross-functionally with teams across operations, quality, merchandising, and customer support, you will play a crucial role in building a seamless end-to-end experience. Accountabilities: Manage the final mile delivery operations, including material handling, transportation, and service recovery to ensure top-tier customer experience. Oversee contracts, performance, and onboarding of third-party delivery agents, ensuring compliance with standards and customer service expectations. Serve as the escalation point for service failures, managing corrective actions and communication to resolution. Collaborate with internal teams to identify delivery challenges and propose strategic solutions for process improvement. Conduct routine site visits to verify adherence to procedures and service quality. Maintain consistent communication with delivery agents to reinforce standards and promote continuous improvement. Analyze key performance metrics and trends to inform data-driven decision-making across delivery functions. Partner with quality, merchandising, and product teams to address issues related to delivery or product handling. Requirements 4+ years of leadership experience in operations, particularly in final mile logistics or delivery management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including root cause analysis and recovery planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP and WMS experience (NetSuite, Salesforce, SCALE) preferred. Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines with a sense of urgency. Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics preferred. Previous experience with large-box retail final mile delivery operations is a plus. Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
