ESL Teacher: K-12 Opportunities for 2025-2026 School Year

Do you love working with kids? Have a passion for coaching youth sports? JumpBunch & Amazing Athletes are looking for part time coaches to join our team immediately! We bring sports, fitness and fun to area preschools, daycares, municipal programs, and private schools. With over 70 different sports and fitness activities, we're looking for people who want to make a difference in the lives of kids. We're not looking to hone the next D1 athlete, we're looking to help kids enjoy sports and fitness by getting an introduction to both mainline sports (basketball, soccer, flag football...) as well as other creative activities that involvement movement. While this is NOT a full time position, it is full time fun! We give you lesson plans, all the equipment, and training to deliver a great experience for our little friends. And we will work around your schedule. Most of our programs run somewhere between 9am and 3pm, but we do have some after school and weekend clients as well. Our most pressing need at this time is for daytime hours working generally in the midtown Indy area (think Meridian Hills over to Binford Blvd. Hours / days will vary but the schedule will be consistent over the course of the winter into spring. Requirements Must have: Positive Attitude! Love working with kids (and some experience too...) Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, jump, jog, and move actively to execute a class Be able to pass a background check Have your own reliable transportation Communication through email / text / phone / Marco Polo app Nice to have: Experience coaching youth sports, or teaching preschool aged kids (we primarily work with ages 2-6, up to age 12) Ability to be flexible and think on your feet (sometimes you show up and the only space available is a hallway!) We often have back to back classes, so 60 minutes coached is 2 hours of pay. The After School Program is available during the regular school year from 2:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Thursday, and 1:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: ● Support the After School Program in providing a high-quality experience for students. ● Supervise students in various environments, including library, outside/play areas, garden, and classrooms. ● Support development of regular classroom plans for students in after-school program spaces. ● Supports the development of curriculum for, and delivery of, regular enrichment programming for students in after-school programs. ● Encourage inclusive, healthy play to develop and improve students’ physical and social skills. ● Support with the daily dismissal process for all students on campus ● Be willing to jump in wherever needed on campus ● Build a trusting relationship with students and the school community ● Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, staff and faculty, and other members of the ASP team, to ensure the safety and well-being of each student. ● Assist with setup and cleanup of ASP activities. ● Ensure materials, equipment, and community spaces are used appropriately. ● May be assigned in a classroom, outdoor play area, sports court, garden, theatre, library, or assisting with traffic/dismissal process. Qualifications ● High School Diploma ● Some college-related credits in Early Childhood or Education, preferred. ● Related experience with school-age children and youth (K-8) in educational or recreational settings, preferred. ● CPR/First Aid certified, or willingness to be certified ● Ability to walk, run, bend, squat, or lift child and stand for long periods. Supports the mental health and social service needs of residents.   Required Experience, Education, & Skills:  Experience in a residential care or assisted living setting, preferably with RCFE Activity Certification but not required. Strong understanding of federal, State, and local regulations governing residential care facilities for the elderly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a commitment to providing an environment that is positive and uplifting to our residents. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Activity Connect software. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.   Physical Requirements: Activity Coordinator will routinely be required to stoop, carry, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, grip, reach, push and pull. Activity Coordinator will also occasionally be required to lift overhead, waist high or floor level.
