This is a technically-focused role ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in automation or electrical systems and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. This is not a remote position. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position places a higher emphasis on technical expertise and the ability to collaborate directly with engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities Serve as a technical point of contact for automotive clients in the U.S. Understand client needs and propose tailored automation/electrical solutions Work closely with engineering, project, and product teams to ensure technical accuracy Support pre- and post-sales activities, including site visits, presentations, and troubleshooting Identify opportunities for technical improvement or upgrades within customer operations Collaborate with international teams as needed for project execution Required Qualifications Based in Chattanooga, TN U.S. resident or valid work authorization Strong technical background in automation or electrical engineering Experience in the automotive industry is essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Hands-on, practical approach to customer challenges Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field Experience with PLCs, robotics, sensors, or industrial control systems Technical sales or customer-facing engineering experience Benefits: Opportunities for skill development and advancement.
