Direct Hire Opportunity – Survey Crew Chief (Land Surveying) Location: Chalfont, PA Industry: Civil Engineering Type: Full-Time, Field-Based Compensation: $35.00–$46.00/hour (flexible based on experience) Estimated Annual Salary Range: $72,800–$95,680 We’re partnering with a growing Survey Engineering company operating throughout the East Coast to find a skilled Survey Crew Chief. This is a direct hire opportunity, and our mission is to meet your needs, in addition to the client's requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Lead field operations using advanced surveying equipment and technologies. • Manage and transfer survey data efficiently to office staff. • Maintain organized project documentation. • Interpret maps and scale drawings accurately. • Guide team members with your knowledge of survey types. • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members. • Maintain and optimize survey equipment. • Demonstrate initiative and improve task efficiency. • Use general computer applications to support survey processes. • Be open to training, development, and occasional travel/overtime. Qualifications: • 5+ years of surveying experience, including Crew Chief responsibilities. • Strong math and technical skills. • Proficiency with advanced surveying equipment. • Experience producing accurate plan presentations. • Knowledge of field survey operations and construction industry practices. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies. • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
