JOIN US as a Service Supervisor, based on-site with two of our large Ohio-based customers, and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. Role and Responsibilities: Operations management: ·        Oversee daily service department operations, including scheduling, dispatching technicians and managing workflow.  Team Leadership: ·        Recruit, train, and mentor technicians, providing guidance and support to improve performance and morale.  Financial Management: ·        Manage the service department budget, control expenses and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity and customer satisfaction.  Customer Service: ·        Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints and ensuring timely and efficient repairs.  Quality Assurance: ·        Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship, ensuring that repairs and maintenance tasks meet manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.  Safety Compliance: ·        Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for technicians and customers.  ·        Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.  Improvement: ·        Identify opportunities to enhance service processes and improve equipment reliability, staying updated on industry trends and new technologies.  Reporting: ·        Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on departmental performance, goals and initiatives.    Requirements  We are looking for a mechanically and electrically skilled service engineer with experience of servicing, maintaining and repairing complex equipment. A candidate with experience of working with EDM technology would be of particular interest. This role sits between the US Service Manager and the service team therefore we are seeking someone with supervisory experience.
