The estimator’s role will maintain communication with our team, customers, and vendors, as well as perform full take-off of electrical equipment, utilizing software to create estimates. Once trained - you make $60 to $75/hr. If qualifies, can move up to Electrical Test Tech ($1000-$1200/day). Applicants must have some exposure to electrical, HVAC, facility maintenance, PC, electronics, anything technical. Must be presentable, in charge type, good clear English, like working at different locations, will have helper, occasional travel out of area (HI, NV, No Cal, AZ), all expenses paid, car rental, flight, travel bonus, commissions, profit sharing. Growing architectural firm seeking a full time project manager/Design Associate to assist with all aspects of architectural service to a wide range of clients including custom residential and light commercial projects. We are located in a bright and spacious office with comfortable working spaces in the heart of Downtown Pacific Grove. The position will require development of photo-realistic renderings for presentations, design of new buildings and remodel projects, review of the building codes, development of construction documents and details, quality control, coordination with consultants and building officials, as well as helping to develop CAD standards for the office. A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or related Engineering/Design education) and minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in the architectural design field is preferred. Qualifications • Basic knowledge of wood framed construction and at least background experience with Revit or similar BIM software are required. • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCad, Microsoft Office, Lumion or V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite. • Architectural License or active engagement in the pursuit NCARB/State licensure is a requirement.
