Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mortgage Inspection Plan Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating accurate and clear draft plans that depict property improvements and their relationship to property boundaries. These plans will assist lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders in assessing property suitability for mortgage approval. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of property boundaries, and the ability to work with real estate professionals to ensure compliance with local zoning laws and regulations. The position is full-time and would have a steady schedule Monday-Friday, 9AM to 5PM. Overtime offered after a probationary period. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Draft Mortgage Inspection Plans: Create accurate and clear Mortgage Inspection Plans based on property surveys, construction layouts, and field inspections. • Property Analysis: Review property records, deeds, and relevant documents to ensure that the drafted plans accurately reflect the property’s boundaries and improvements. • Collaboration with Surveyors: Work closely with licensed land surveyors, real estate agents, and title companies to gather all necessary data and clarify any discrepancies. • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all drafted plans are accurate, adhere to industry standards, and comply with local zoning and building codes. • File Management: Maintain organized records of all drafted plans and revisions, ensuring easy access for future reference and compliance. • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local zoning laws, building codes, and other regulations that may impact the drafting of Mortgage Inspection Plans. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Education: o High school diploma is required. • Experience: o All training will be provided upon hiring. o Familiarity with property layouts, zoning codes, and building regulations is a plus. • Skills: o Critical thinking and the ability to solve problems creatively. o Ability to read and interpret property deeds, plats, and other legal documents. o Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. ________________________________________ Physical Demands: • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. ________________________________________ If you are passionate about property data accuracy and want to be part of a team that helps streamline the mortgage process, we encourage you to apply for the position of Mortgage Inspection Plan Drafter!
