Employment Type: Full-time About Us: Hirata & Associates, Inc.is looking for a talented Mid to Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Mid to Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and management of geotechnical projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct geotechnical investigations and assessments for various projects. • Analyze soil properties and assess site conditions. • Design foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks. • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and design documentation. • Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering. • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desirable. • Strong knowledge of geotechnical software. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
