The ideal candidate is proficient in SolidWorks and DraftSight, has strong mechanical design experience, and thrives in fast paced, and creative environments. You will play a key role in turning concepts into reality, working collaboratively with engineers, sales representatives, and purchasing personal to bring innovative solutions to life. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop custom mechanical systems and components for automated equipment - Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and DraftSight - Generate BOMs and documentation for manufacturing and assembly - Apply creative problem-solving to meet functional, cost, and timeline requirements - Work with purchasing team to specify and source appropriate components and materials - Participate in design reviews and provide input to continuously improve design practices - Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and safety requirements Requirements: - Proficiency in SolidWorks and DraftSight. - Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials. - Ability to think outside the box and develop innovative, practical solutions. - Highly motivated, responsible, and capable of working individually or as part of a team. - Knowledge of pneumatics, motion systems, and electrical integration is a plus.
