Typical duties may include drafting Topographic Surveys, ALTA maps, Records of Survey, Partition Plats, Subdivision Plats, Condominium Plats, completing FEMA Elevation Certificates, reviewing/reducing field data, research, resolving property boundaries and construction staking calculations. Small consulting engineering firm looking for experienced HVAC and Plumbing Design Engineer. Our company has gained a reputation for simple, practical design solutions. Projects include high end custom residential, commercial projects, and multi-family. Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience independently designing HVAC and Plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects with experience running loads, recommending system solutions, selecting equipment and overseeing a project from beginning to end. Individual should be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software, and BlueBeam Revu. Knowledge of Revit would be a plus. Individual should be self-motivated to learn new skills and progress within the industry, able to work both independently and as a team, and have solid communication skills. Architects Northwest, Inc in Woodinville needs an energetic, competent, and experienced CAD drafter. Can you draw a builder spec house from scratch with minimum supervision and light check sets? Can you draft client revisions to a stock plan, reverse a plan, add a 3rd car bay, draft an alternate elevation from a designer's rough sketch? Can you do structural engineering installs from markups, WSEC compliance forms, and update a 2009 IRC plan to 2021 IRC? Can you draft site plans? You're what we need! The applicant shall have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the field of structural consulting design. Desired experience shall consist of working with multiple types of building materials, project types and the ability to contribute on multiple projects and deadlines. The selected applicant will be expected to produce structural calculations required for permit submittals, work with GLR’s in-house drafting department to produce construction drawings, coordinate with architectural clients and other design team members, and succeed in operating in a team environment.
