Summary: We are urgently seeking one Electrical/MEP Design Engineer with a minimum of six years of experience and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) License. to join our dynamic team. Must have experience in multi-story commercial, hotel, or mixed-use building design of electrical power systems, service room layout, site lighting & security, load calculations, Fire Alarm systems and lighting systems. Responsibilities/Duties: Familiarity with New York City Engineering design standards, codes, and industry standards of practice relevant to all aspects of Professional Engineering Design. Design of electrical power systems, service room layout, site lighting & security, load calculations, Fire Alarm systems and lighting systems. Familiarity and understanding of Contract Documents for Engineering, and administration of same during the Construction Phase. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule projects effectively, Field Visits during Design Phases as Consultant may need to verify existing conditions. Site Walk-through with the Construction Group’s Program Unit during Design Phase to review existing conditions and design objectives. Experience Minimum 6 years of experience in Electrical / MEP systems design of multi-story mixed-use building, hotels, and/or commercial high-rise buildings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT & Microsoft Office capabilities is mandatory Analytical and problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and project management experience. Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Have a Valid Driver’s License. Have a Valid Professional Engineering License.
