We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Drafting. You will play a crucial part in translating client visions into detailed technical drawings. Key Responsibilities: Drafting & Design: Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings (using CAD software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) from client sketches, verbal descriptions, and design concepts. Develop shop drawings for production, ensuring accuracy and clarity for the fabrication team. Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and hardware. Prepare and present design options to clients, effectively communicating technical information in an understandable manner. Compensation based on experience.

THE POSITION The Supervising Engineer plays a critical role in advancing Sacramento’s traffic safety and mobility goals. With increasing political attention, emerging technologies, a broader definition of mobility that encompasses active transportation and equity, and growing complexity in traffic safety, the Supervising Engineer ensures that the City provides timely, high-level engineering review and guidance.
