Fire sprinkler Certified Inspector - 3 to 5 years experience as a State of Texas RME-I Inspector. Candidate will be assigned a vehicle, laptop/I-Pad, cell phone and all other necessary equipment to perform residential, commercial and industrial inspections. Must have background in fire protection installation and testing with verifiable background in this field. A current Driver's license, good driving record and the ability to work with others is required as well as the ability to organize and schedule work. Additional/supplemental NICET training can be provided to further his/her professional skills/experience. Additional Certifications and skills (such as backflow certifications) in this field are a plus and will impact the base salary. Good organizational skills and communication skills also required.

About the Role As Senior Commissioning Engineer, you will lead and direct commissioning services from planning and design through construction, occupancy, and operations. Qualifications Minimum Required: • Professional Engineer (PE) license • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • 10+ years of total experience in engineering, MEP systems, controls, or construction. • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in building commissioning. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to travel regionally for site work and project meetings. Preferred: • CxA Certification (BCA, AABC, NEBB) or equivalent – Preferred but not required. • LEED Accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design requirements. • Experience with energy audits, controls testing, and existing building commissioning. • Familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning processes and energy efficiency standards. • Familiarity with IBC, IMC, IEC, NFPA, NEC, and LEED as related to building commissioning. • Experience in healthcare, higher education, or federal construction environments. The construction inspector is responsible for a wide range of duties that revolve around the verification of construction materials, installations, and code compliance. Daily, the inspector will perform site visits, document contractor activities and track corrective actions. The Inspector will engage teams to discuss and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring that each phase of production meets the specifications before the final acceptance.
