Reputable Construction Management Firm with offices throughout California looking to fill a part-time, hourly Construction Administration/Project Management position for projects in the Bakersfield area. Duties: * Solicitation and procurement of contractor and vendor services * Facilitate constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering * Put projects out for competitive bid * Logistics planning * Construction scheduling * Facilitate weekly or bi-weekly preconstruction update meetings * Administration of contract requirements * In capacity of District Representative, provide direction to project team * Coordinate project kick-off activities * Assist with evaluation of project logistics * Coordinate consultant teams * Coordinate with local agencies and utility companies * Provide oversight of cost, schedule and quality control during construction * Provide regular budget and schedule updates * Attend weekly, or bi-weekly, project meetings * Review Applications for Payment * Facilitate punchlist, closeout, and final acceptance of the project * Record Notice of Completion * Advise Owner on warranty issues * Assist District with evaluation and resolution of technical and performance issues that may arise during the course of the project * Assist with reports to stakeholder groups * Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner * This position is work from home with regular site visits near Bakersfield/Taft Requirements: * Degree in Architecture or Construction Management from accredited U.S. university (preferred) * Minimum 10 years experience working in the field during construction phase * Experience public school projects under the jurisdiction of DSA * Proficient in forma Construction Administration process * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Excellent computer/technology skills * Excellent communication skills * Must be highly responsive and customer service oriented Please submit cover letter, resume and proposed hourly pay rate to request an interview.

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Cloacina, LLC is a manufacturer and purveyor of package wastewater treatment plants and industry equipment located on the Central Coast of California. It is owned and managed by a family of licensed operators and maintenance mechanics, now four generators deep. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Controls Engineer/Controls Engineering Manager. POSITION SUMMARY: Cloacina is seeking a Controls Engineer/Controls Engineering Manager to assist with the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of their Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) systems and associated equipment. The candidate will also assist the Cloacina Electrical Engineering department with PLC control panel design, networking design and implementation, and equipment factory acceptance testing (FAT), assist the Cloacina Engineering department with control methodology design, and assist the Cloacina Lifecycle team with troubleshooting and remediation of problems observed on existing operational systems. Note that Cloacina is looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a good fit for the company culture, even if they lack certain specific technical skills. Cloacina is willing to train and develop a motivated individual with the right aptitude. RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities will be expected of the candidate: • Interpret control panel schematics and engineering drawings (e.g. P&ID’s) designed by Cloacina Electrical Engineering department. Work with that department to make any modifications, revisions, as-builts, and improvements. • PLC development programming for the equipment control systems based upon the unit-process-diagram (UPD) process control diagrams generated by the Cloacina Engineering department. Work with that department to make any modifications, revisions, as-builts, and improvements.
