Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take customer orders, suggest menu items, and provide information about products or promotions. Ensure accurate and timely order processing, ensuring customers receive their orders as expected. Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and provide a high level of customer service during busy periods. 2. Food Preparation & Quality: Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all menu items are made according to KFC’s quality standards. Follow food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of food items. Ensure food is served fresh, hot, and accurately prepared at all times. Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper portion control. 3. Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms. Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas regularly. Ensure all food preparation areas meet the required hygiene standards. Follow all company policies for sanitation, health, and safety standards. 4. Teamwork & Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership to ensure efficient restaurant operations. Communicate effectively with fellow employees and supervisors to meet customer needs. Assist in training new team members and provide guidance as needed. Be flexible in performing a variety of tasks and help out where needed across different areas of the restaurant. 5. Cash Handling & Register Operation: Handle cash and operate the register accurately, ensuring correct change is given to customers. Assist in maintaining accurate cash drawers and complete necessary paperwork for register transactions. Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company procedures. 6. Food Safety & Compliance: Follow food safety guidelines to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Follow all company policies related to health and safety, including proper food handling and safety procedures. Maintain safe working practices at all times, including when operating kitchen equipment. 7. Additional Responsibilities: Assist in the restocking of supplies and ingredients as needed. Support the team in ensuring that the restaurant meets customer expectations and operational goals. Participate in promotional activities and company events as directed by the restaurant manager. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure the restaurant’s smooth operation. Qualifications: Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or fast-food role is a plus but not required. No prior experience needed, as training will be provided. Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food quality. Ability to work well in a team environment and support fellow team members. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Must be at least 16 years old (age requirement may vary based on location). Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move around the restaurant. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
