Join a fast-paced, mission-driven engineering team dedicated to securing the infrastructure of a high-impact financial operations platform. In this hybrid role, you’ll play a critical part in safeguarding sensitive data across the stack, ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and compliant. This position offers the opportunity to shape and execute a long-term security roadmap, while closely collaborating with infrastructure, product, and data teams. You’ll be empowered to implement high-leverage solutions that directly influence product growth and customer trust — all in a highly collaborative and innovative environment. Accountabilities: Own and drive the security roadmap for the company’s data platform, proactively identifying and addressing vulnerabilities. Architect and implement foundational security infrastructure, integrating it within existing development workflows. Lead the end-to-end remediation of high-priority issues across a broad technology stack. Collaborate with infrastructure, data, and product engineering teams to embed secure-by-design principles into all technical decisions and deployments. Requirements 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on internal data tooling using platforms like Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Looker, etc. Strong ownership mindset — ability to independently lead projects from ideation to deployment and scale. Deep understanding of secure infrastructure design and deployment in a cloud-native environment. Passion for fast-moving environments and a commitment to continuous learning. Bonus points for experience with Python (Flask), Terraform, AWS, and enhancing developer experience and security in internal data systems.
