Together with management, other departments, and AI resources, identifies, obtains, and posts primary source materials from various jurisdictions (primarily states) to enhance Tax Analysts’ document archives. Supervises a small team that assists in these tasks. Serves as project coordinator for new development efforts. Maintains and updates Tax Analysts’ state codes and regulations. Learns to build on existing processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy, including new technologies and software to streamline work, maintaining quality assurance and controls. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet the department’s objectives. 1. Identifies primary source tax materials to enhance Tax Analysts’ primary source archives. 2. Identifies sources from which to obtain these primary source materials.. 3. Works closely with management and other departments to devise and implement a workflow to make these items available on the company’s website 4. Devises and documents procedures and style guidelines for accurately summarizing these materials. 5. Identifies issues and areas for improvement in various jurisdiction archives. 6. Maintains and updates state tax codes and regulations. 7. Hires and supervises a small team to ensure that deadlines are met, quality is maintained, and staff is appropriately trained to perform all necessary tasks. Supervisory tasks include recommending raises and instituting disciplinary actions and termination, according to established policies and procedures. 8.
