We are seeking safe, reliable Class A truck drivers for its Northern and Central California feed delivery operations. Local delivery schedule leaves plenty of time for life outside of work: Part Time hours, Monday- Friday/ Able to work flexible hours Our Compensation show how much we value our team: • $24-$28 per hour, Depending on Experience Job Duties: • Safely operates a tractor trailer and double trailers and industrial trucks to perform assigned duties on designated routes • Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle • Runs ELogs and Performs pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Report; notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair. • Works closely with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiencies and identify problems or unsafe accounts. • Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Completes deliveries to customers’ satisfaction. • Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route. Education / Experience Requirements: • 2 years of verifiable driving experience w/ class A trucks • Must be able to pass all DOT pre-employment requirements • Must possess a Valid Class A CDL and have a clean driving record • Doubles Endorsements Required • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. regularly • Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations • Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations • High School diploma or equivalent preferred • Good communication, written and verbal, organizational, time management skills • Dependable and Reliable • Knowledge of warehouse equipment and warehouse standard practices including safety protocol • Organization, prioritization, problem solving, information gathering and monitoring, adaptability, and teamwork • Agriculture experience is a bonus Position: Part Time Truck Driver Location: On the road (based out of Elk Grove, CA) Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, Depending on Experience Status: Part Time Hours: Monday – Friday/ Able to work flexible hours **NO PHONE CALLS OR WALK-INS PLEASE** APPLY NOW: https://elkgrovemilling.applytojob.com/apply/eLOvzZK4qK/Truck-Driver-Class-A-Local-Delivery-Part-Time?source=craigslist
