Experienced Auto Body Technician (scotts valley)

Canepa is looking for an Experienced Auto Body Technician. This individual must be quality-minded, hardworking, and dedicated to providing the highest level of workmanship in the industry. We are seeking a person who is highly professional, who can work individually, as well as part of a multifunctional team. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years Auto body experience. • Preferred knowledge of Restoration style of bodywork • Knowledge of anti-corrosion treatments, substrate identification, surface preparation, undercoat product mixing and application. • Ability to remove and install bolt-on components. • Ability to perform substrate preparation mechanically or chemically. • Knowledge of vehicle body construction and fitting components together. • Skilled use of specialized alignment tools and welding equipment. Job Description, includes but not limited to: • Provide excellent customer interaction and service. • Quality assurance of work performed/deliverable. • Adhere to safety protocols by following company policies and procedures. • Preform all duties of the restoration body and paint shop. • Inspect repairs for proper fit, finish and functionality. • Removal and replacement of parts ensuring to maintain wire organization. • Realign car frame and chassis to repair structural damage.
