(must be coverable by company insurance to receive benefit). BOLD Low Voltage is a low voltage electrical contractor specializing in new construction multifamily residential construction projects. BOLD Low Voltage installs Fire Alarm, Access control, IP Video / CCTV and Telecom Systems. BOLD Low Voltage also completes Fire Alarm Test and Inspect, and Fire Alarm Service and Monitoring as well as completing Fire Alarm building annuals. BOLD Low Voltage is rapidly growing allowing our staff the opportunity for many avenues of growth. We strive to maintain a family-type atmosphere and are committed to the highest standards of quality and safety. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Washington State 06 Electrical License. (required) NICET 1. (required) NICET 2. (required) Seattle FA-1. (preferred) Knowledge in Kidde VM-1, Siemens Modular, and/or Potter IPA. (preferred) Extensive Knowledge in Fire Alarm installation which includes Programming and Commissioning fire alarm systems. (required) Ability to train and oversee potential apprentices. (required) Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. (required) Strong communication skills verbal and written. (required) Ability to communicate with clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers. (required) Extensive knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards. (required) Ability to problem solve independently and work through complex critical thinking pathways to provide solutions to the service calls. (required) Ability to work overtime and or outside standard business hours and or weekends as needed to accommodate customer needs. (required) Is highly organized and detailed oriented to document service calls and be in compliance. (required) Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. (required) Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Company requirements. (required) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Completing multiple service calls daily. Responsible for complying and enforcing safety requirements while on company property, driving company vehicle and at customer’s site. Responsible for maintaining all job and customer related notes, deficiencies, invoices, and compliance test reports in company provided software or as required compliance test reports through third party jurisdictional platforms. Responsible for recording time in the company provided time and attendance software. Perform site surveys to educate customers of required related fire protection equipment. Problem solving and diagnosing and troubleshooting complex problems at different sites. Ability to go into a service call with limited knowledge or data of a known issue and independently diagnose the root cause, propose how to fix the issue, and properly communicate to on-site staff the stage of repair. Diagnosing and replacing devices and hardware. Terminations of Fire Alarm Devices. Read and interpret various blueprints, diagrams, and submittals. Maintaining a professional positive relationship with the customer and pass on needed information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up/quoting/and parts ordering. Filling out detailed paperwork daily by job. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Duties include the use of a ladder. May be asked to perform tasks that require long periods of standing, sitting, bending, twisting or reaching above the shoulders. May include driving to and from multiple service calls in one day. Repeated use of power tools. Ability to climb and descend stairs repeatedly throughout the workday. Candidate will need to frequently lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. GEOGRAPHICAL AREA: As a “Puget Sound” employee you will be asked to complete service work from Marysville area to Tacoma area.
