Structural Welder (Floresville)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Structural Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various welding techniques, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This role involves working on construction sites and in manufacturing settings, ensuring that piping systems are installed and maintained according to industry standards. The Pipefitter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, performing welding tasks, and ensuring compliance with ASME codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for various applications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of piping systems Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding as required for different projects Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to complete installations Conduct pipe bending and soldering tasks to ensure proper fit and function of piping components Execute routine maintenance on existing piping systems to prevent leaks or failures Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion Adhere to safety protocols while working in construction or manufacturing environments Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects Requirements Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to pipefitting work Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation Experience with rigging techniques for lifting heavy materials safely Knowledge of plumbing systems and fire sprinkler fitting is highly desirable Previous construction site experience is preferred Applications accepted Monday - Friday 1203 SW Military Dr, San Antonio, Tx 78221 9200 Broadway # 100, San Antonio, Tx 78217 1255 SW Loop 4100 #147 78227
