This position is responsible for inspecting, servicing, and repairing septic systems, including advanced treatment systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and motivated to grow into a rewarding career in septic and wastewater services. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety and professionalism. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Inspect, maintain, and repair septic systems and components • Perform mandated county inspections and complete required documentation • Diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and provide upfront pricing to customers • Operate equipment such as forklifts, mini excavators, and camera systems • Communicate clearly with customers to ensure understanding and satisfaction • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, service vehicle, and inventory • Participate in weekly team meetings and inventory inspections ________________________________________ Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Authorized to work in the U.S. • Ability to pass a drug test and background check • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions • Prior experience in plumbing, septic, construction, or related fields preferred but not required ________________________________________ Company Overview South Platte Services & Shirley Septic Pumping, LLC provides septic pumping, inspections, installations, portable restroom rentals and services, roll-off dumpsters, and commercial dumpsters throughout Morrison, Conifer, Pine, Bailey, Evergreen, Grant, Jefferson, Fairplay, Alma, and Hartsel, Colorado.
