The mechanic will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Diesel Technician responsibilities • Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. • Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and trailers. • Perform DOT inspections. • Perform major repairs to equipment, including engine, rear end, clutch, brake, and transmission. • Perform minor repairs to equipment, including but not limited to cutting, welding, changing tires, and replacing lights. • Perform electrical system repairs on vehicles. • Maintain clean and organized work area. • Professional appearance and language (no profanity) Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
