PROJECT MANAGER - PAINTING COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION (Tampa)

Specialized Services Group, Inc., a commercial construction, painting, and historic restoration contractor is seeking a PAINTING PROJECT MANAGER with experience in commercial painting projects with an emphasis on repainting of occupied retail, educational, office, hospitality, condominium/HOA, government, and select iconic properties. The position requires an experienced individual who is a forward planner, resourceful, innovative, demonstrates integrity, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled at adapting to project constraints and resolving issues, all while delivering the core values of the company, Value, Honesty, & Commitment. The Painting Project Manager will have total responsibility for project job costs, quality of workmanship, jobsite safety, procurement of materials, and the scheduling of and coordination of in-house as well as subcontractors in insure a timely and profitable project completion. The Painting Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and coordinate assigned painting projects, ensuring adherence to Specialized standards, core values and budgets. Plan and manage all aspects of the assigned projects while understanding the projects contract, scope, specifications, and expectations. Work with Preconstruction/Estimating to complete take-offs, both in the field and from drawings, plans, specifications to develop cost budgets and selling prices for projects, as well as prepare change order scopes and pricing. Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years of commercial painting, coatings, waterproofing experience as a manager or supervisor. Must be able to travel to project sites with occasional overnight as required. Must be proficient in MS OFFICE Suite Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be drug free.
