We are seeking rock drillers to join our team. Experience preferred but not mandatory. By joining our team, we will work continually to balance your skill sets and passions that will contribute to the growth of our company. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum age 18. Preferred experience working as a rock drill operator. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that includes no more than 3 moving violations and/or chargeable accidents in the last 3 years and no DUIIs. Some travel is a required. We provide transportation and hotels. Because drillers occasionally assist with blasting operations, we submit candidates to a background check through the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to screen felony records as appropriate in compliance with federal government restrictions. We will administer a pre-employment drug test and physical. For safety reasons, we have a zero-tolerance drug policy. Being able to read survey staking a plus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Drilling rock using hydraulic drills on construction sites and rock quarry sites. Performing routine maintenance on drilling equipment. Being aware of, and alerting supervisor to the need for repairs and maintenance of equipment. Completes necessary equipment pre- and post-operation and inspections drill logs. Laying out design patterns. Occasionally assisting with blasting operations. Performing any or all other duties as necessary to satisfy job requirements. Pay depends on experience. Competitive pay. You’ll manage multiple in-house crews, coordinate field operations, and ensure job sites are safe, efficient, and high-quality. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role — perfect for someone who’s ready to take ownership and grow within a company that promotes from within. This role requires extensive field experience in residential foundation repair, carpentry, and concrete forming, as well as expertise in grade beams, caissons, and seismic retrofitting.
