Job Title: Laborer Reports to: Construction Project Manager Primary Functions: General labor, painting Employment Type: Full-time, non-exempt Location: San Francisco, California Job Summary Halyard (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is seeking a Laborer to support our rapidly growing team. This position will assist in completing turnover work for residential units in San Francisco. The Company provides construction, engineering, design, and apartment renovation services for institutional and individual clients. As both designer and builder, the Company offers an integrated process to its clients. Having successfully completed hundreds of high-quality apartment renovation projects, we are one of the preferred contractors in the San Francisco Bay Area. Key Responsibilities • Clean up construction debris and remove clutter to ensure safe and organized work areas • Assist carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople with various tasks, including preparing project materials • Perform painting and surface preparation in residential units • Install various finishes (varies by property) • Follow company procedures for preparation, painting, and cleaning • Must adhere to all company safety standards • Perform other duties as required Minimum Requirements & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent • One year or more of experience in facility maintenance, construction, or painting • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, use tools and operate machinery, and regularly lift heavy objects • Familiarity with painting tools and equipment • Punctual with a strong work ethic Key Skills & Competencies • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Willingness to learn, accept on-the-job training, and learn from experienced craftsmen • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean residential spaces • Bilingual in Chinese and English is preferred • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred Halyard is committed to building a diverse workforce and takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer.
