Delta Power Group Compensation: $1000-$1200 per completed main panel upgrade Experience level: Journeyman Electrician / 5 YR + Exp Apprentice Company: Delta Power Group Location: Toledo, MI (plus surrounding towns) *Must know how to tie in a solar PV system to main service panel* About Us: Delta Power Group is a leading residential solar installation company dedicated to providing high-quality energy solutions. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician (or 5 yr+ experienced Apprentice Electrician) to perform main panel upgrades, electrical modifications, and service calls for our customers. Job Responsibilities: - Perform main panel upgrades, including: - Line-side taps - Load-side connections - Service derates & full service upgrades - Single, two, three, or four-gang meter upgrades - Sub-panel upgrades - Meter adapter installations - Other related electrical modifications - Diagnose, repair, and resolve electrical and system performance concerns efficiently. - Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations. - Work closely with solar installation and customer service teams to ensure seamless system performance. - Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs, and upgrades performed. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications: - Journeyman Electrician License (preferred) OR 5+ years of experience as an apprentice working on similar projects. - Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, service upgrades, and panel modifications. - Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems and performing service calls. - Familiarity with solar interconnection requirements (a plus, but not required). - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent customer service skills for interacting with homeowners. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. - Willingness to travel within the service area.
