HVAC Parts & Estimating Florida mechanical Building Solutions Pompano Beach, FL, US $18 - $30 / hr Full-Time Dental, medical, paid time off, retirement, vision Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HVAC Parts Coordinator and Estimator to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking HVAC parts, as well as preparing accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Parts Coordination: Source and order HVAC parts and equipment based on service and installation team needs. Track inventory levels and maintain appropriate stock of frequently used items. Coordinate delivery and pick-up of parts with vendors and internal teams. Verify part availability, lead times, and pricing from suppliers. Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-efficiency. Log and monitor part returns, warranties, and credits. Ensure timely and accurate documentation in inventory and procurement systems. Estimating: Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC service repairs, equipment replacements, and new installations. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans. Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and sales team to gather required data. Calculate labor, material, and time requirements for HVAC projects. Submit competitive and accurate quotes to clients or sales representatives. Follow up on submitted estimates and update as necessary based on client feedback or scope changes. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical HVAC training preferred. 2+ years of experience in HVAC, purchasing, estimating, or a related field. Working knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and materials. Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Preferred Qualifications: EPA certification or HVAC technician certification is a plus. Experience with software Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Our contracting business is expanding and we need a skilled painter who can also repair sheetrock! We are looking for a full-time painter / sheetrock repair person to join our team. Our painting jobs are usually interiors, doors, facia or decks. We do exteriors occasionally. Our sheetrock jobs are usually small repairs from previous plumbing and electrical work and include texturing. We also do a lot of bathroom and kitchen remodels which may require whole walls sheetrocked. If you have handyman skills, this is a plus. Qualifications Painting - Must have at least 8 years experience with indoor and outdoor brush and roller work, spraying, latex and oil based, staining and refinishing of decks, doors, molding and trim, etc. Sheetrock - Experienced in patching sheetrock, taping and multiple styles of texturing including hopper and rattle-can. Own tools and transportation. We will supply consumable supplies such as pans, rollers, drop cloths, etc. Must enjoy working alone or in a team. Stucco - Not required, but a plus if you are able to do small stucco patches and match a variety of textures. Handyman or other construction skills are a plus Customer Service Focus - Good customer skills are just as important as good trade skills Communication Skills - Must be relatively fluent in English and be able to communicate easily with people who's only language is English.
