Carpenter/site lead (Bellingham)

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour Job description: Become part of our growing team at Landmark Enterprises (Design-Build-Remodel)! We are a residential design/build/remodel company currently looking for a journeyman carpenter for work in high-end residential remodeling and new construction. Landmark Enterprises Inc. has been a Whatcom County contractor since 1984. We’re looking for someone with 8+ years of residential carpentry experience and at least one year of lead carpenter experience who is comfortable: Performing carpentry work with accuracy, craft and quality Working directly from blueprints Working with and on ladders and scaffolding safely Working closely with co-workers, contractors and clients to problem solve and efficiently complete job duties to quality standards Adhering to local building and safety codes and guidelines. Organizing and prioritizing tasks alone Communicating specific and detailed instruction to teach others New and remodel framing; siding; door, window, trim, and cabinet installation essential, cabinet making experience a plus. Working through all the seasons we get here in the PNW, heavy lifting, and hard physical work. Engaging with others with an enthusiastic, supportive and team-oriented attitude Supplying and maintaining personal power tools, valid drivers' license, and work appropriate vehicle At Landmark Enterprises, we regularly provide training and promote within our organization. There is room for internal advancement into roles like Site Supervisor, Project Manager, or Residential Designer.
