Diesel Mechanic Must have equipment knowledge in loaders, Sweepers, Landscape Equipment, Pressure washing systems, Snow Pushers, Plow Trucks, Spreaders, Skid Steer. • Run diagnostic tests and analyze results. • Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems. • Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions. • Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies. • Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems. • Develop technical skills through training opportunities • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required. • Ensure the cleanliness of the shop. Must have Problem Solving Skills, Attention to Detail, Interpersonal Skills and A Good Work Ethic. DOT inspections and repairs as needed. This position is offered at $35.00 $42.00 per hour. Term : Year round employment Monday - Friday, could involve after hours call in’s or on job-site (field repairs) diagnostic, during winter months. Could involve OT. I have a cabin in wasilla that needs about 24 hours for two people to finish installing the rafters, roof sheathing, and rest of siding. Must be comfortable working on 4:12 roof and ladders.

I have 4 marine diesel engines bthat need some TLC. Nothing heavy, no rebuilding the engines, trouble shooting, Maybe even oil changes. Need a trouble shooting type person with experience. Part time job, hours are flexible, identifying problem, ordering parts, doing install. Have your own hand tools. Indoor work, not outside on the ground. I have help for you for any heavy lifting or if you need a hand.
