We are currently looking to expand our team and are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join us. Position: Landscape Construction Foreman is a professional who oversees and manages landscape construction projects, ensuring that they are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. This role typically involves supervising a team of landscape workers, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and Leadership: > Supervise and direct the activities of landscape construction crews. > Ensure workers follow safety guidelines, company policies, and industry regulations. > Assign tasks based on workers' skills and experience. 2. Project Coordination: > Work with project managers and clients to review plans and specifications. > Ensure the timely completion of projects, meeting deadlines and quality standards. > Handle scheduling, materials ordering, and site logistics. 3. Quality Control: > Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. > Troubleshoot problems that arise during the construction process. 4. Safety Management: > Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety checks. > Maintain a safe working environment for the crew. 5. Resource Management: > Oversee the proper use of equipment and materials, ensuring efficient usage. > Track material usage and report on project costs. 6. Communication: > Act as the main point of contact between the construction crew, clients, and other stakeholders. > Provide updates and report any issues to the project manager. Skills & Qualifications: • Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in landscape construction. • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of landscape design, grading, irrigation systems, hardscaping (e.g., patios, walkways,walls) • Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate the team. • Problem-Solving: Ability to address unexpected challenges on-site.
