We focus on commercial and civil projects, about 20-30% of our jobs are prevailing wage. Similar experience is what we are looking for. (Apartment complexes, fast food restaurants, pipe and road work). Jobs range from Albany to Portland (mostly Portland area). Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the apartment community, ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. Respond promptly to service requests and work orders. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance needs. Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including cleaning, painting, and repairs. Maintain grounds and common areas, including trash removal, landscaping, and snow removal (if applicable). Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Assist with emergency maintenance as needed, including on-call rotations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience in apartment or facilities maintenance. Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Compensation: $29 per hour Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
